Permanent makeup & microblading

Permanent makeup software for brows, lips and liner.

Brow treatments, lip preparation and lash extensions have their own lead times. REV23 sends your precare before the appointment and keeps the procedure history ready for your client’s return.

Consultations, booking and deposits

A client asking about brows is not always ready to book the procedure. Keep consultation time available without offering every open hour for PMU work. When you agree on the work, a private booking invitation can offer the appointment you actually discussed.

Brows, lips and liner can each have their own appointment length, price and deposit. Approval comes before the payment request. You keep the decision about what belongs in your books, and the client pays for an accepted appointment rather than an unanswered request.

The last procedure matters at the next one.

Your client’s history should tell you more than the date they last came in. Each procedure keeps its notes, signed release, materials and photographs together. Included PMU and microblading releases give you a starting point for your own procedure-specific language. When they return, the work is there to refer to, rather than scattered between a form inbox and your camera roll.

PMU and microblading release forms

PMU prep can’t wait until the night before.

Brow waxing or tinting, skincare treatments and lash extensions can affect preparation well before the appointment. Send your own instructions in stages, matched to the procedure and artist.

Remember the formula, down to the bottle.

“Brown” is not much to go on when your client returns. REV23 keeps the pigments and formula you recorded with the procedure. Your bottle records add the details a color name cannot tell you.

Pigment formulas and bottle records
The formula you used
Your pigment choices and formula belong with that session, ready to refer to during the return visit.
The lot on that bottle
Keep the lot or batch number and printed expiration date with the pigment record, instead of relying on the bottle still being on your shelf.
The date you opened it
My Ink tracks opening dates and the manufacturer’s usable life after opening alongside the printed expiration date.

Microblading software that keeps both brow visits together.

The first brow visit and the return belong to the same work. You should be able to look back at the original photographs, formula and blade record before you decide what to do next. REV23 keeps that history across sessions, without turning the perfecting visit into an unrelated appointment.

  1. Initial brow visit

Keep your brow notes and signed microblading release with the initial session. Attach the photographs you want to refer back to, and record your pigment formula, pigment lots and microblading blade lot and expiration date. The record describes what you actually used on this client, not just what you usually reach for.

  2. Perfecting visit

Refer to the original session while you record the return. Earlier photographs and notes give you context for the work in front of you; the new session keeps its own photographs and materials. When your price includes a perfecting visit, that included return can stay in the original service history.

A later touch-up does not have to follow the same arrangement. Your service pricing and return timing remain yours, whether the visit is included or separately charged.

Lips and brows should not get the same follow-up.

Give each procedure the aftercare you wrote for it. Care Journeys continue after the session with plans matched to the service and artist. Choose the timing for a perfecting or rebooking prompt, so the invitation names the next visit you want them to book.

Your cash deposits stay distinct from the studio’s card deposits.

Your deposit is available when the procedure reaches point of sale. REV23 distinguishes a cash deposit held by you from a card deposit held by the studio, so the money still makes sense when it is time to settle. Your commission for brow work can differ from lips or liner, with the agreed rate recorded on the sale.
