End of Windows 7 Support in REV23 Desktop

Windows 7 support is being discontinued in REV23 Desktop v19.1 early next year.

We’ll keep this one short and sweet. When we release REV23 Desktop v19.1 early in 2019, we will officially discontinue support for Window 7. Meaning, you will not be able to install or update to v19.1 on Windows 7 and you will either need Windows 10 or Windows 8.1.

Keeping Windows 7 support has prevented us from updating some core components in REV23 such as SQL Server. With less than 5% of our existing users still rocking a Windows 7 license, it’s time for us to move on as it adds other complications to testing and support.

If you’re still on Windows 7, we recommend upgrading to Windows 10 now to ensure no disruptions to your REV23 updates.
