REV23 + CardConnect v18.1 Beta

Over the summer, we announced that EMV (chip card) support was coming to REV23 Desktop in this blog post. Later, we shared more information on this page to answer some questions that were left over from the earlier post. Today, we’d like to share some new information with you.

To summarize, REV23 Desktop v18.1 will include chip card support, but it is not backwards compatible with our existing processing methods using the magnetic stripe swipe reader. Meaning, if you want to keep processing credit cards in REV23, you will need to acquire a new compatible terminal before you upgrade to v18.1.

To support this, REV23 has partnered with CardConnect to offer best-in-class payments technology for the body modification industry to ensure accepting debit and credit card payments is always simple, secure and affordable.

Today, we’re excited to announce that you can join the REV23 Desktop v18.1 Beta to begin using this new functionality now! Get started with CardConnect by filling out the form on this page: https://cardconnect.com/partner/rev23

We’re excited for you to try this new version and see the new REV23 credit card processing experience.
