We hope everyone is having a great summer! We sure are!

Today we're pleased to announce the release of REV23 Desktop 17.1 Update 3 (17.1.3) for your downloading pleasure.

For this update, we've continued to refine, and wrap up the 17.1 release before we move onto 17.2 in the coming months. So, while this release contains mostly minor enhancements and fixes, there are a couple of awesome new features worth noting.

Walkouts: You can now quickly record a walkout. What's a walkout? These are potential clients that have left your studio without scheduling an appointment or having a service performed. Why did they leave? What does this mean for your business? Start getting these answers now! Use the "Walkout" action on the Quick Action Toolbar (above the file menu) to quickly record that this happened.

Open Related Record button on property editor: Last week we experimented with an idea of adding the Open Related Record action directly into a property editor. We weren't sure what we thought, so we asked the community what they thought. The answer was clear, so it was added.

Background Service Recovery: Now, when services such as the Virtual Receptionist, Integration Service or Backup Service stops for some reason (crashing), Windows will now automatically restart the service, so it should start up again.

Service Duration: Previously, if doing hourly pay for artists, the hours were calculated by the start time and end time. Now, you'll have the option to manually specify how long the artist tattooed (accounting for breaks).

Customer property on Gift Cards: You can now (optionally) assign a gift card directly to a customer. This will open up some interesting possibilities that will start showing up in 17.2.

Customer Physician Info: You can now add physician info to customer records for printing on release forms, for those of you that need this.

We hope you enjoy this update! Let us know what you think!
