The REV23 Desktop Quick Start Guide

Part of the recent rebranding of REV23 and REV23 Desktop was an initiative to get our user guide up to snuff. In the past, our documentation has been... pretty bad. It was a bit outdated and often under construction. This is something we're trying hard to improve and today, I'm happy to announce the availability of a new section, the Quick Start guide!

Located in the full user guide, the Quick Start is a way to jump start your adventure into REV23 Desktop. We've decided the best way to learn REV23 Desktop is by following along with someone else who is learning it, but also needs to keep you interested. So, we've created a fictional studio, Gotham City Tattoo & Piercing, based on characters in the Batman universe (a personal favorite of mine), to demonstrate setting up the shop.

Gotham City Tattoo & Piercing focuses on Harley Quinn, who has turned in her sledge hammer for a tattoo machine. She's come up with a plan to discover the secret identity of Batman by tattooing the citizens of Gotham City, looking for any clues as to who he is, but producing some killer artwork in the meantime. She's hired her friends Poison Ivy as a tattooist, and Catwoman as a piercer and manager of the shop.

So follow along with the girls in the Quick Start as they setup shop and learn how to use REV23 Desktop.

I hope you find the Quick Start helpful and keeps you engaged while we flesh out the rest of the user guide. Over time we will add additional topics to the quick start, but I think for now, this is an amazing starting place.
