Ideas & consultations

Turn interest into a working list, not a pile of DMs.

Share an Ideas link from your website, bio, Stories, or a pinned post. Clients send the request, references, budget, and availability together. Artists decide what happens next.

The request at a glance

Project, artist, budget, availability, files, and status.

Ready when time opens

Search the list instead of old messages.

One link for the whole request

See the project, not just the message.

An Idea keeps the whole project together, from the first description and references to the artist's notes and plan for the piece.

  • Open the references beside the request instead of hunting through a DM thread.
  • Keep the client’s availability and budget next to the artist’s estimate and session plan.
  • Contact, consult, pass, decline, or book with the original request still in view.

The whole project, up front

Placement, size, style, color, budget, and references arrive together, so the artist is not asking follow-up questions for a week.

When they can come in

Availability arrives with the request, so a cancellation already knows who could fill it.

One record from the first message

The request creates the client, so the conversation, files, consultation, and booking never scatter.

Share the door in

Put the link where the DMs start.

Add the Ideas link to your website, Instagram bio, Stories, a pinned post, or a QR code.

  • Send an artist-specific link to the person already following that artist’s work.
  • Let a no-preference request land with the studio for assignment.
  • Give each location its own starting point when the Cloud has more than one studio.

A waitlist with a job

A cancellation should not start a search through old messages.

Move the projects you want to consider onto the waitlist. When time opens up, Available now shows requests from clients who said they can come in then.

Hybrid consultations

Consult when the piece needs a conversation.

Some requests are ready to quote and schedule. Others need a consult first. Keep both paths in the same Idea instead of forcing every client through the same appointment.

Contact, consult, estimate, or book.

  • Contact the client directly or put a consultation on the assigned artist’s calendar.
  • Record the estimate, session count, and follow-up date with the Idea.
  • Book the session directly or send a private booking link with the Idea already connected.

Pass the project, not the screenshots

The right project can belong to someone else.

Assign a no-preference request, pass an active Idea to another artist who offers that work, or send it back to the studio. The next person gets the request, references, availability, notes, and history together.

  • Only show artists who perform the matching category of work.
  • Add a note when passing so the next artist knows why.
  • Decline a request without pretending it is still waiting for a response.

Already have the right form?

Keep the website you built. The requests still land in REV23.

If your website already has the project form you want, keep it. Send each new request and its reference images into Ideas for the artist to review.
