Setting your studio business hours enables the calendar to appropriately show which days the studio is open and shade the areas on the Day and Work Week Calendars for normal business hours.

 

To set business hours click the application menu in the top left hand corner of the program, and select "Business Hours."

 

 

 

This opens the Business Hours configuration dialog.

 

 

Check the days that your studio is open for business and fill in the open time and close time. You can use the "Fill down hours" button to set every day below the selected day to the same business hours.

 

 

Complete this screen and click the "OK" button.

 

 

You will now see a shaded area on the calendar above 12:00 PM. This indicates that the studio is not open for business at this time, so you won't want to schedule any appointments for clients there.

 

Additionally the Calendar Sidebar shows red days on Sunday. This is because we've selected that the studio is not open on Sundays.
