Q: Does Tattoo Management Studio work outside the United States?
A: Absolutely! While some countries do not require the amount of paperwork for tattoo
procedures that the United States does, Tattoo Management Studio
was designed to work in any country that performs tattoos & body piercings. Currently,
there are Tattoo Management Studio users in United States, Canada, Australia, New
Zealand, Germany & Italy.
Q: Can I capture my client's signature electronically so I don't
need to keep the hard copy of a release form?
A: Yes! Tattoo Management Studio integrates with the ePad-ink to
obtain legally binding signatures which store digitally on the release form. Please
check with your local health department if your state will allow this, as all states
are different.
Q: We use some "creative" book keeping methods in our studio.
Does Tattoo Management Studio erase numbers at the end of the year, not track cash,
etc...?
A: No. Tattoo Management Studio includes no features to help you dodge the IRS or
reduce your taxable income. It is designed to keep track of what is coming into
your studio and what is going out of your studio. By supplying falsified numbers
to the software you would be doing yourself a disservice by not taking advantage
of all Tattoo Management Studio has to offer and seeing the growth of your studio
year after year.
Q: Does Tattoo Management Studio scan barcodes for merchandise?
A: Yes! You can print and scan barcode labels.
Q: Can more than one computer in my studio use the same data?
A: Yes! You just need to buy an additional workstation license (at a discounted
price) for each additional computer you want to install the software on.
Q: If I replace my computer, can I reinstall the software or do I
need to purchase it again?
A: You absolutely do not need to purchase the software again! While
Tattoo Management Studio software installations are licensed to your computer, if
you need to install it somewhere else, it's as simple as a phone call to REV23 Development
to have the license transfered at no cost.
Q: I have multiple studios and want them to share the same data.
Is this supported?
A: Yes! There are several options for allowing data sharing across all of your studios.
REV23 Development also offers database hosting for a monthly fee, or you can do
it yourself. For more information please contact REV23
Development.
Q: Will my existing credit card processor work with your software?
A: Why not check out the recommended card processing as they have the lowest rates
around, however it may be possible that your current processor works with Tattoo
Management Studio. If they are on the TSYS/Vital
platform or the Paymentech platform, then yes. Otherwise, Tattoo
Management Studio will not be able to process credit cards with them at this time,
but will be very soon.
Q: Do you offer on-site training/support?
A: No. Tattoo Management Studio is not difficult to learn, but you can sign up for
a low cost web setup & training.
Q: Are there free updates?
A: When you purchase a Tattoo Management Studio license you will receive
free updates for one year. After that time, when a new version of the
software is released you would be required to pay a discounted upgrade fee if you'd
like to have features included in that new version. Otherwise you can continue to
use the version you have at no cost.
Q: Do I need an internet connection?
A: For some features such as
downloadable catalogs,
credit card processing, Google Calendar Integration & Text Message/E-mail reminders, yes. However the software works offline, too.
An internet connection is also required once, 90 days after purchase to validate
your license or every 30 days if you're on a payment plan.
